Principal of Nolan Mar International to Take Part in Summit on Port Security

WASHINGTON, November 12, 2004 - Mary Ungar, President of Nolan Mar International, a security and management consulting firm based in Washington, DC, has been asked to provide expertise to the Maritime and Port Security Summit, November 16-17, 2004. This summit, which is hosted by Defense Today, is being held at the Cafritz Conference Center, George Washington University, Wshington D.C. and will be the first post-election conference to address maritime and port security.

Ms. Ungar is an expert in port security risk management and security upgrade planning. She has a proven track record in assisting clients in the energy sector qualify for state and federal funding to offset security upgrade costs and manage the grant administrative and audit requirements. At this conference, Ms. Ungar will address issues associated with port and maritime security insurance, marine war risk/terrorism insurance and risk management.

The NAIC recently listed the greatest insurance loss catastrophes in the United States. Topping the list is 9/11. “It is imperative that we manage these risks to protect our critical infrastructures and our citizens,” Mary Ungar.
